Pink flowers from a low-growing evergreen rosette. Native to southeastern Europe.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.

Seed-starting details for this plant

  1. Seed from HPS/MAG '08/'09 exchange. Baggy 70F (3w; 10%G, 10d) - 35F (4w) - 70F (5d, no G)

Unusual leaves-first germination pattern. Rock garden plant database suggests one month at cool (~60F) conditions for germination.
