Thuja occidentalis 'Teddy'
|Winter coat? March 2009 |
|December 2009 |
Soft blue-green needles on a dwarf, globe-shaped evergreen tree. I planted this in our rock garden, but will have to watch it carefully, because it does not like to get too dry. Through the winter, it turns rather brown, but its leaves still have a soft texture - so I figure this is just its winter coat, not a sign of impending demise. For some reason, I've only taken pictures of Teddy in winter thus far, even though he's lived through a full season in our garden.

|Alex||Jul 16, 2017||Really want one of these. I'm going to try it in a large elho brand container. As it's quite small to start I don't want it overshadowed by anything so maybe it'll be in a tall pot as to give it a beefed up appearance. |
