Grown as an annual in colder parts of the country, this vine should be just about hardy for us here in the Houston area. I don't know much about its habit, except that it blooms on new growth. Which is good, because its top growth was killed back by the Texas megafreeze of Feb 2021, but it returned from its roots a month later.
