Trollius ircuticus

Common name globeflower
Family ranunculaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z3)
Flowers orange (mid-late summer)
Size 24"
Light sun-shade
Cultural notes moist soil

From online information, I gather this is not unlike our Trollius 'Golden Queen' in habit and in flower. We have just a couple of seedlings, hopefully they'll survive the season to show off their mature habit next year.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: orchard nursery area
