I've tried to grow blueberries a good number of times through the years, but they're never very happy, even with my attempts to provide them a nice acidic soil. Perhaps I'll find the magic combination sometime. We were getting close in our final year in Pennsylvania, with several robust varieties growing side by side – and then we moved, much to Amy's dismay (she was really looking forward to those blueberries!)
In our new Houston garden, we're trying once again. We're starting with varieties 'Pink Lemonade' (with pink berries) and 'Heritage', and hoping for some sweet healthy berries to snack on in the near future.
