Verbascum blattaria |
| Flowers start out as pinkish purses |
A slighter-growing mullein than most others in our garden - for us, the rosettes have stayed small, and the flowerstalks rise straight and slender.
| As they open up, the flowers take on a moth-like appearance |
| Finally, when fully open, a typical mullein flower |

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away... About my plant portraits
