We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston. One or more images of this plant are included in my stock photo catalog About my plant portraits

I planted mine in full sun at the edge of a retaining wall in October of 2007. It not only survived the cold winter but put on the most beautiful dainty flower show come spring. The leaf on it is very healthy and stays green all summer long and I never watered it once. We had an extremely hot dry July and August and now it is blooming again and the leaves are changing to a purplish color in the cool days of October. I plan on dividing it and planting some of it next to my stepping stones under my arbor to my backyard courtyard. I could'nt have asked for a more perfect groundcover. |
