Watsonia borbonica 'Bedazzled' and 'Cherry Splash'
Gladiolus relative from South Africa, with trumpet-shaped flowers on tall spikes that rise above sword-shaped upright leaves. The plants retreat underground to their bulbs in summer. We're trying two varieties from mail-ordered bulbs. They should be hardy here in Houston, so hopefully they'll be with us for years to come.
||various colors (spring-summer)
||well drained soil
In our garden, this plant grows in the following areas: back fence border, left fence border
