We grow two cultivars: 'Variegata', the common pink-flowered variegated one that seems to have claimed a space in half of our country's gardens - and 'Tango', a smaller one with burgundy foliage and red flowers. The former grows to about 5 ft tall for us, the latter to about 3 ft. Both are mainstays of our shrub border.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston. One or more images of this plant are included in my stock photo catalog About my plant portraits
