'Capricorn' is a hybrid rain lily with orange-red flowers, which look quite nice in online photos. I got seed for this from the NARGS seed exchange, and hoped it would produce something like those flowers. Alas, as you can see from the photos here, when the flowers finally arrived 3 or 4 years later, they were a pink-flushed white. Nice enough, but overall fairly similar to other white rain lilies in our garden. So while these have earned themselves a spot in our garden, I will keep looking for strikingly different varieties.

  1. Seed from '19/'20 NARGS exchange. Baggy 70F (33%G, 5-10d). Other seeds were likely empty.
