Zephyranthes fosteri |
 |
Small species from Mexico with clear pink flowers. Its six petals have pointed tips, and make a fine backdrop to the bright yellow anthers. Ours first bloomed as a second-year plant, in mid-August. In its third year, flowers arrived earlier, by late May, but the individual plants are still small.
