Eighth Annual Plant Sale - May 3rd 2008
It's become a tradition by now, and this year was no exception - the
eighth installment of Rob's plant sale. The garage was as packed full of plants
as ever, and almost all who came left with some new green friends. Next year
there will likely be a ninth edition; I've got many new varieties started from
seed, so hopefully they'll make it through summer drought and winter cold to
emerge at a nice size by next May. Stay tuned!
If you'd like me to add you to my mailing list to be reminded by email a
few weeks before the sale send me an
e-mail.
What plants?
In 2008's sale we had over 200 different species and varieties - mostly perennials,
but also some herbs, shrub and tree saplings, and ornamental
grasses. Besides a few first-year perennials, most of them had
been with us one or more years. Stay tuned for the actual assortment this year.

Container recycling
We're always scrounging around for used pots for our plants. Pots in the
middle size ranges, from one-quart to one-gallon nursery pots, come especially
in handy. If your used pots need a home, feel free to drop them off at our
place anytime - if you know where to find us, just drop them off near the
mailbox. If you don't, email me (link at bottom of page) for directions.
Long live recycling!
