Slow-growing Japanese maple, a bit of a novelty for its deeply cut, curly leaves. Our specimen is small, and destined to stay that way for quite a while. We hope to be in our house long enough to see it mature. Even in miniature it's fun to have around, though. We planted it next to the waterfall at our big pond, making sure to give it the good drainage it requires.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: big pond
