New twigs arrive in brilliant burgundy, contrasting nicely with the fresh green leaves

Common name Tatarian maple Family aceraceae Life cycle tree Light Medium-sized maple tree with handsomely cut leaves that turn a brilliant shade of crimson in fall. Our seed-raised specimen is still young, but holds lots of promise.
