Small feathery white plumes rise above intricately cut ferny foliage on a much smaller plant than its cousin A. dioicus. For the front of the partly shaded border. We have two different sizes of plants grown from the same seed source - one much more dwarf than the other. Perhaps the bigger one (the one affected by rust in the photo) is a hybrid with big cousin?
