Plant family: rosaceae

I'm constantly amazed to find yet another seemingly un-rosy plant that belongs to the rose family. Many fruit trees, including apples and stone fruits, belong to this family, as do herbaceous flowering plants such as geums and filipendulas. And roses, of course.
