Evergreen shrub popular for its spring flowers, autumn berries, evergreen foliage and manageable size. The plant is native to China, but is commonly planted as a foundation shrub in the U.S. We got ours as part of our builder's landscaping package, and have no idea which variety it is. So I'll put in an update when it blooms next spring.
