Herbaceous perennial, with the typical bright-green strawberry-like leaves of the cinquefoil clan and dark red flowers. Not sure why I'm growing this from seed, since it clearly doesn't like our hot Texas summers. If the seedlings survive long enough, I'll stick them in a partly shaded location and see what happens.
