self-seeds in our garden

| Seed ripens | early July |
Cool looking plant, mostly because of the way the stem comes through the leaves at alternating angles. Self-seeds quite rampantly in our garden, so we consider it a weed in most places - but always allow some patches to grow.

AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO START
THANKS CARL I don't know why you'd need treated seed - it seems to germinate just fine without special treatment. A rampant reseeder in our garden, in fact. |
| Elizabeth Gazzard | Feb 05, 2006 | I grow Bupleurum Griffithii to sell but I am never quite sure when to pick it. The florists sometimes say if won't 'hold.' Can you help me - I have some that has been flowering for a few days now and I don't want to leave it too long. I have heard that it holds better if well into flowering. I know very little about cutflower properties - but I'll leave your question up, in case anybody else has an answer. |
