From what references I've found, it's not looking good for the winter-hardiness of this beautyberry. So far, one plant (out of three) made it through its first winter. Sure enough, it's fuzzy, with a purple cast to the new leaves. I think we need to hope for at least another round of winter survival before we can observe its flowering/fruiting displays.
