Common name variegated sedge Family cyperaceae Life cycle perennial (Z5-9) Size 12" Light sun-part shade Cultural notes ordinary garden soil One of two similar variegated sedges we grow. Compared to Carex morrowii 'Ice Dance', this has yellow rather than white variegation, but it is quite similar otherwise. Since these are in their first season in our garden, we don't know yet quite how vigorous they'll be.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
