Clerodendrum incisum 'Musical Notes'

Clerodendrum incisum 'Musical Notes'
Clerodendrum incisum 'Musical Notes'
Family lamiaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z9-10)
Flowers white (summer-fall)
Size 3-5'
Light sun-part shade

Small shrub in tropical climates (it will probably stay smaller for us, since I expect top growth to be killed in even mild Houston's freezes), whose main attraction is the round white buds that nod down to resemble musical notes. The pure white flowers opening from these buds open at night, and may persist into the morning.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: rock garden zone
