Petroselinum crispum

Petroselinum crispum

Common name parsley
Family apiaceae
Life cycle biennial (Z5-9)
Flowers yellow-green (summer)
Size 24"
Light sun-part shade

Most years we have some parsley going in our herb garden. It's usually a neglected plant, so its bloom this year took me by surprise: the plant was taller than I expected, with quite elegant umbels of greenish yellow flowers.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.

One or more images of this plant are included in my stock photo catalog
