Cultural notes ordinary garden soil

Tall sage, grows naturally in boggy areas but will also perform well in a garden setting of ordinary moisture. Will spread by stolons where it is happy. Native to South America. Ours was done blooming when we bought it in mid-November, so I hope to have more representative pictures by next summer.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...
