Common name hyssop skullcap; large skullcap Family lamiaceae Life cycle perennial (Z6-9) This arrived in our garden as a gift from a generous gardener in Florida. It was labeled Scutellaria integrifolia, but that species' leaf margins are entire, while our plant is definitely serrated. So I'll wait to see what I actually have.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
