Scutellaria orientalis ssp. oreophila

Scutellaria orientalis ssp. oreophila
Synonym(s) Scutellaria oreophila
Common name skullcap
Family lamiaceae
Life cycle perennial
Flowers cream (early summer)
Size 4"
Light sun

Very little information on this one, which belongs in the woody creeper department of the genus. It's less yellow than the S. sevanensis and S. orientalis we've grown previously; not sure of the ID, since the only online reference I can find shows a lilac-tipped cultivar, not the plain subspecies.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
