detailed seed-starting info below

Sparse information on this one. Dave's Garden calls it an annual, but also reports a hardiness range. So far, my experience supports the annual status: individual plants don't return, but they bloom well in the year they grow from seed, and reseed (sometimes a bit too enthusiastically) in the areas where they grew the previous year.

I took a snapshot of them shortly after planting them out in the garden, because I liked their nifty division pattern.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
