Nice little specimen tree, set in a raised circle in our side garden. We sure hope it doesn't grow as large as the species (50-70 ft) - but even if it does, it will take a long time to do so. In the two years in our garden, it hasn't grown much, but it pleases us with its white-splashed, slightly contorted leaves. As you can see from the two pictures, the green coloration in spring (right) is light; the color deepens in summer (above), for an even more striking variegation effect.
