So far in our garden, this is a low-growing plant, with dark grey-green leaves returning from last year's twiggy stems. Two-lipped purple-and-white flowers appear in June, and produce interesting seed cases. Supposedly can be used as ground cover, but at least for now, the growth pattern is too sparse to be used that way.
